XL Bully Guest Policy
We welcome responsible owners of exempted XL Bully type dogs. To keep everyone safe and to comply with the Dangerous Dogs Act, the following conditions apply throughout your stay.
Eligibility

Each dog must have a valid Certificate of Exemption in the owner’s name

Third party public liability insurance must be in place for the duration of the stay. Household policies such as Dogs Trust liability cover are accepted

The owner is responsible for meeting all ongoing legal conditions
What we need before you arrive

A copy or clear photo of each dog’s Certificate of Exemption

Proof of current public liability insurance

A mobile number for the person in control of the dog during the stay
During your stay

Dogs must be muzzled and on a lead in all shared areas including reception, corridors, stairways, car park, and garden

A responsible person aged 16 or over must be in control of the dog at all times outside the room

Dogs must be securely contained if left in the room. Please let us know if a dog is inside so we can pause housekeeping

Please avoid contact with other guests and their dogs in narrow spaces. Give way where possible

Our team will not enter a room while a dog is loose inside

Please arrange a suitable time for service when the dog is out with you
Failure to comply

If these rules or any legal conditions are not met, we may ask you to leave and charges may still apply

Any incident that gives cause for concern may be reported to the relevant authority
Privacy
We record that documents were checked but we do not retain copies unless required by law or requested by an authority.
